The word Denuded refers to laying something bare, removing material to expose surfaces or interior spaces. Covering and revealing, alluding to but not showing, these were the ideas driving the design as I created this wall cabinet. By expanding on the technique of frame and panel, the bent laminated forms in Denuded activate the space created by the cabinet skeleton, suggesting a closed exterior, while allowing a glimpse between and inside the curves.
