Exhibition on display from Wednesday, January 22nd through Friday, March 28th. 30 years ago, six furniture makers joined together to form the NH Furniture Masters Association and pioneered a new way to share their craft with the world. This “Founders Exhibition” showcases the work of those original six members and begins a year of exhibitions and events that culminates with the group’s autumn show at the Currier Museum of Art.
For over 20 years, the Furniture Masters have coordinated their Prison Outreach Programs. Each program is distinctive, but all bring Furniture Masters behind prison walls to teach inmates valuable woodworking skills. Inmates are spending their time productively, not only learning a valuable skill that can be executed upon their release, but also building self-confidence and a sense of self-worth.
LEARN MORESponsors and friends of the Furniture Masters are our true partners and vital to the sustainability of our organization. We rely on sponsors, grants and donations to keep our vital programs running, including the Prison Outreach Program. Please consider sponsoring or donating to the Furniture Masters this year.
