Prisoners being mentored as a part of the Prison Outreach program.Prison Outreach Programs

The NH Furniture Masters Prison Outreach Programs educates select inmates on the art of fine furniture making. Our first program was founded at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men in 1999. In 2012, we expanded to the Maine State Prison. In 2022, we launched a Women’s Program at the NH Correctional Facility for Women. Each program is distinctive, but all bring Furniture Masters behind prison walls to teach inmates valuable woodworking skills.
