About the Exhibition:
Collecting work by the finest furniture makers in the region has been a central goal of the Currier Museum of Art since its founding in 1929. The Currier’s commitment to focusing on the art and history of New Hampshire continues with the fall presentation of Joined Together: 30 Years of the Furniture Masters. The Furniture Masters, known for their skill, inventive forms, and aesthetic vision, are leaders in the international studio furniture movement.

Film premiere + Q&A with the NH Furniture Masters

Tyra Hanson, director of Gallery at Somes Sound is a longtime supporter of the NH Furniture Masters and represents many members of the NH Furniture Masters at her Gallery on Mount Desert Island. She has recently produced a documentary that features several Masters. Be part of the first audience for the Furniture Masters’ new film on Wednesday, November 12. This event includes a film screening followed by Q&A with the Masters.
