The Furniture Masters return to Portsmouth for
‘Furniture in the Garden’
Saturday, July 30, 5 p.m.
The Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden
154 Market Street

The New Hampshire Furniture Masters arrive at the Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden, 154 Market Street, Portsmouth, Saturday, July 30, 5 to 8 p.m, for a garden reception and discussion of their latest Masterworks.

For a twist, the Masters will pair their often contemporary designs with an early piece from the Moffatt-Ladd’s own collection.  Find out what early makers may inspire in these current-day Masters.  It promises to be an impromptu retrospective of the art of fine furniture making in the most beautiful setting in all of Portsmouth.

Exhibiting Masters include:

Aurelio Bolognesi, Hardwick, Mass., Zig Zag
Greg Brown, Bedford, The Alden Rocker
Timothy Coleman, Shelburne, Mass., Arabesque
Jeffrey Cooper, Portsmouth, Rencontres en St. Paul de Vence
Richard Oedel, Boston, Mass., Simply Side by Side
Brian Sargent, Candia, Occasional Tables/Coffee Table

Tickets for the event are $10 to benefit the Moffatt-Ladd House and Gardens including fare from some of Portsmouth’s favorite restaurants.  To purchase:
