Wire coopering is a well-known technique to create curved structures.
This is, in my opinion, a very elegant way to go about it.
The “clamps” are very strong and reusable.
I used this technique to build a revolving cabinet with an elliptical
section for this year’s exhibitions. Here’s a picture of the master work in progress; the wood is teak.
